A Wealth Of Experience
After qualifying as a CA (SA), Craig joined Marriott in 1989, was Managing Director of Marriott Property Services and subsequently head of Listed Real Estate at Old Mutual Property investments. He was Chief Executive Officer of SA Corporate Real Estate Fund (JSE listed), a director of Oryx Properties Limited (Namibian listed) and a past Chairman of the Association of Property Unit Trust Management Companies. Craig is currently a director of First World Hybrid Real Estate plc, a regulated fund domiciled in the Isle of Man.
Building on a financial background, Craig has sound knowledge of both the South African and UK property industries, as well as the listing and other regulatory requirements of these jurisdictions. Craig dividies his time between South Africa and the United Kingdom.
Peter completed a BSc (Hons) in 1991 and a Masters in Town and Regional Planning in 1993. Formerly the Managing Director of SA Retail Properties Limited and an executive director of SA Corporate, he has more than twenty years' diverse property experience with specific emphasis on acquisitions, disposals and property development activity. Peter is a member of the SA Council of Town and Regional Planners and qualified as a chartered surveyor with the Royal institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) in 2005. He was a founding member of the Association of Property Loan Stock Companies and a past executive committee member of SAPOA KZN.
Peter is responsible for the identification and sourcing of suitable property assets for the investment funds that Sequelprops manage, locally and abroad. He divides his time between South Africa and the UK, where he has an extensive base of professional and industry contacts.
Roger graduated with a BA LLB and was admitted as an attorney of the High Court of SA in 1992. After joining Marriott in 1995, he was appointed Managing Director of Martprop Property Fund in 2002 and an executive director of SA Corporate in 2007. He has also previously served as the Chairman of the Association of Property Unit Trusts and as a member of the Financial Services Board Advisory Committee. Roger is currently a non-executive director of Marriott Unit Trust Management Company, a subsidiary of Old Mutual Investment Group.
Following on his legal background, Roger has extensive experience ranging from property broking and consultancy to fund investment management. He manages the relationships with our clients' legal and insurance teams and interacts with the tenants who occupy the investment properties. Roger is based in South Africa and travels to the UK regularly.
